Established to protect the winter habitat of the dusky Canada goose, this site on the floodplain of the Columbia River provides a winter haven for many waterfowl species. It also serves as a year-round home for great blue herons and a resting spot for migrating sandhill cranes. 5,150 acres [2,084 hectares]. Facilities include hiking, boating, hunting, scenic drives.
